Revolutionizing Healthcare: The Impact of Quantum Computing on Personalized Medicine
Abstract
Quantum computing is an emerging technology that can solve complex problems much faster than classical computers. This article examines how quantum computing and personalized
medicine can work together to change healthcare. Quantum computers use unique properties from quantum physics, like qubits, to quickly process large amounts of medical and genetic data. This allows them to speed up drug discovery, improve medical images, and help create more accurate and personalized treatments for patients. Real-world examples show that special systems called Quantum Neural Networks (QNNs) assist doctors in making better choices, such as selecting the right treatment for knee osteoarthritis and analysing genetic patterns to predict disease. Although challenges remain, like high costs and maintaining patient data
privacy, combining quantum computing with personalized medicine could lead to more preventive, precise, and tailored healthcare. As this technology develops, it will help doctors provide better treatments more quickly and bring us closer to genuinely personalized care for everyone.
